Released, Maryam Sanda Organizes Birthday Party For Daughter A Day After Bail

Justice Yusuf Halilu of an Abuja High Court Wednesday granted bail to Maryam Sanda who is standing trial on allegations of killing her husband, the late Bilyaminu Halilu, nephew of former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairman, Dr. Bello Haliru.


A day after she was  granted bail, Maryam was seen organized a party for her daughter’s birthday..She reportedly organized the party at her mother’s residence on Thursday, and the event was attended by close family members.

The pictures have sparked outrage since they emerged online considering the situation.

She was granted bail on health grounds, following a fresh application for bail argued by her counsel, Mr. Joseph Daudu (SAN), having denied her bail on three previous occasions.
