President Robert Mugabe who has been president of Zimbabwe for 2543 years, but as much as he gets flak for being one of the longest running dictators in Africa, sometimes he says things that make sense.

Like on the recent occasion of his 92nd birthday celebration at Great Zimbabwe Monuments on Saturday, February 26, he proffered a solution for the growing rate of r@pe and abuse of minors in Zimbabwe, saying the should be castrated.

He said,

What s*x impulse is it which gets one to abuse a little child? I always wonder the level of punishment to be meted out to such people. Can you all suggest how such brutal monsters amongst us that rape babies should be punished …

He noted however that his proffered solution for the growing rate of r@pe in his country would attract the wrath of human rights organizations,

Again, human rights people will say it (castration) is too severe. Sharia Law says if you use your hand to steal, that hand must be cut off. So what should be done to such people if they use their manhood to abuse a child? I think their manhood should be cut off. They will go and get an artificial one (I) think.
The castration solution was very welcome by the audience as they laughed and applauded their president.
