Tiwa Savage Wants All Mum To Know That It Is Good To Teach Children Their Native Language

Tiwa Savage is really showing off her mummy skills...She intends to put 100 percent to bringing up her baby, Jamil in the right way...

The new mum shared a pic of her and her son just before his bedtime acknowledging that she has already started reading early to baby Jamil, she also let it be known that she wants her son to speak his native language and as such speaks to him in Yoruba.


She Captioned her post; 

Ok so I know it’s a bit early but I started reading to jamjam already before bedtime, I want to get him used to reading then my mum asks if I would speak yoruba to him as well, then I said of course as it is so important to me for him to speak his native language. Do you yummy mummies agree?#MomsKnowBest

I love that Tiwa is teaching her son Yoruba. I have found that with a lot of exposure, many modern parents are not passing on the knowledge of their native language to their children.
