In an interview, the host quizzed the popstar on who he was dating right now.
As she did so she scrolled through pictures Justin had uploaded to social media, including a provocative snap of the him and Deli together.
But the Canadian coyly avoided the question, fixing his hat and playing with his hair, and even brought the conversation on a tangent about Ellen's reading glasses before she snapped him back and forced him to answer.
'I’m single ladies, and ready to mingle,' he announced to predictable adolescent shrieks from the audience.
