The 2face-Influenced Wizkid Postpones His Album Launch

The star boy himself, Wizkid has postponed the release of his third studio album from September 2015 to 2016. The singer became the only artiste to have bowed out of what looks to be a September full of albums after himself, Iyanya (released), Orezi (released) and Davido promised an album.

According to him, he says:

They never stop trying to bring me down, But God’s light forever shines! Celebrated the legend @2faceidibia1 last night! Epic! Made me realize how much I need to fuck the game up! So I’m moving my album to sometime next year! But my EP drops Next month! October! 10tracks! 10 videos! What a time to be alive! 😈


Wizkid‘s fans can at least look forward to more music from the 25 year old star before the end of year.

At this point it’s not clear if indeed Wizkid has truly decided to postpone the release of his 3rd studio album till 2016 as he just announced or it’s just a stunt as he did last year when he pulled a ‘Beyonce‘ on us by dropping his Ayo album unannounced on September 17, 2014.

Wizkid now promises to release a 10 track EP with 10 videos in October 2015 for his fans. ...
