Secondary School Boy Uses Cutlass on Teacher After He Punished His Girlfriend

A student of Community Secondary School, CSS, Alor Uno, Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State identified as Ebuka, has attacked a classroom teacher in the school, giving him a serious machete cut on his head.

The boy, who intended to kill the male teacher was said to have carried out the wicked act because the teacher punished his girlfriend who misbehaved in the class. He was said to have vowed to deal with the teacher after his girlfriend was punished.

A source said the suspect, who was said to have acted under the influence of alcohol and hard drug hid a machete in his cloth on the fateful day.

Sources said , the suspect beckoned on the teacher to come, adding that the victim who sensed danger, took to his heels but was chased into a classroom where he got a machete cut on the head.

It was reported that the teacher would have ended up in pieces if not for the intervention of other teachers and students who over-powered the suspect and before handing him over to the police.

Shortly after he was apprehended, the suspect was said to have stated that he didn’t know what came over him.

He said his girlfriend informed him that a certain teacher beat her and he decided to retaliate but didn’t mean to attack him with a cutlass.
