Kate Hensaw Recounts On How She Lost Soo Much Money Paying Bribes at the Election Primaries

Actress, Kate Hensaw abandoned her acting career and delved into politics where she lost at the primaries..In a recent interview on the phone, the actress said though she spent so much money to actualize her political ambition(House of Reps member) in Calabar South, she doesn’t regret the moves she made even though she spent them on people who were not willing to hold on to their words

In her words;

“I lost a lot of money. I am in red now but I know I will recover,” All I know is that there was no election in my state and the leaders there are corrupt. I don’t regret that I wanted to salvage the ruins in my community and liberate the people of Calabar. It was just that some people robbed us of the chances of doing that. If the people had the privilege to vote, I would be representing them by now. There was so much violence,” she said.
“I have gone back to acting. But then, I want to do my own business that will fetch me what I lost.. But that doesn’t mean I have forgotten about politics. I will certainly come back again in 2019,”
