Hehehehe Buhari tho, So he visited the Defence house in Abuja yesterday and was pictured snubbing a handshake from the President of Benin Republic Boni Yayi.
The Benin President who visited the former General during a closed door meeting expressed his confidence in Buhari’s ability to take up Nigeria’s many challenges and further described Nigeria as the engine room of the West African sub region.
Buhari on his part thanked him and people of Benin Republic for identifying with the major problems facing Nigeria, saying “President Yayi has voluntarily identified himself with Nigerian government’s efforts to stamp out insurgency in the northeast.”
But what thrilled me was Buhari being overly cajoled to accept a handshake or hug from the seemingly over-friendly president.
