Kanye talks about The Grammys, Tyga, his new album, Beck, slams his ex Amber Rose, and even claims that Beyoncé is inspired by his wife Kim Kardashian.
“They love each other. They respect each other,” Kanye said, adding, “When Beyoncé’s working on an album, she has pictures of Kim on the wall, because Kim represents powerful women.”
“Kim be playing ’7/11′ video, playing it for our daughter,” he added it. “Maybe there’s a LeBron James-Kobe element to it - I ain’t say that.”
That wasn’t all he spoke about, he also addressed the Grammy’s controversy, saying “The person that won was Beck, because if I hadn’t done that, his Album of the Year would’ve never been mentioned…He should win an award for what he did - Rock Album - but he shouldn’t have won that award.” He also admitted he was surprised that he did actually enjoy Beck’s album, which he heard during his dinner with Taylor Swift, and he means to call Beck about the incident, but keeps forgetting.
Kanye also opened up about his new album, saying “[It's gonna be] bars, songs, cookout music that just feels good. My last album was a protest to music, I was like 'I'm gonna take my ball and go home'...This album is embracing the music, joy. Being of service to the people. I just hope people like it and enjoy it,"
Kanye also said that his new song, "Wolves," was inspired by conversations he had with Drake about a joint album they were planning to do, which might still happen. “The song came from a conversation me and Drake had where we were supposed to do an album together—it was supposed to be called Wolves...we said we was gonna do it, he was sending beats back and forth.”
