“I don’t like people that are hypocrites” – DJ Cuppy on why she stopped being a feminist

Billionaire daughter and Nigerian Disk Jockey, DJ Cuppy has weighed in on feminism and why she stopped being one.

In a recent interview with City 105.1 FM, the 26-year-old said;

“I used to consider myself a feminist, until I realized that I didn’t really understand it. I don’t like people that are hypocrites.


People are out there speaking about women’s right, but behind closed doors, they are doing kinda like crazy things.

I just feel like I would never come out as a feminist because I am in a male dominated industry, so I have certain scenarios where I have to like (water myself down), but I deal with men on a day to day basis, and they’d always think that they are better than women.”
