Gov. Shettima & His Convoy Stop To Help Stranded Family On Maiduguri-Damaturu Expressway

Help came the way of a family that included a woman, her children ‎and husband whose commercial vehicle broke down on the Maiduguri-Damaturu highway. The family was said to have stood on the highway for hours without help until Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima's convoy heading towards Maiduguri arrived. Soon as Governor Shettima sighted the stranded woman and her children by a broken taxi, the Governor stopped his convoy, alighted and met the family.





After making enquiries, the Governor ordered that a new tyre be given to the driver to replace the flattened one while the Governor also gave financial support to the stranded woman before he also gave lift to the entire family helping them to return to Maiduguri before proceeding with their journey the following morning.
