MAMA Award winner, Yemi Alade has warned her fans not to fall for the Bank Verification Number(BVN) scammers that have been flooding her line with text messages telling her to reactivate her ATM card that has been deactivated by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
The text reads;
Dear Customer, Due to BVN Validation in compliance with CBN Bank Directives, your ATM has been deactivated, to reactivate call; 08061597396
After warning her fans to beware of the Ember scammers, she told them to call the number and wish them season greetings.
