One Akeem Sanni has appeared before an Ebute Metta Chief Magistrates Court for allegedly pushing a neighbour off a storMan Pushes Neighbour Off Storey Building Ater Illegally Tapping Electricity From His Flatey-building yesterday despite he was the one at fault.
Sanni, a resident of one of the streets in
Ebute Metta West, is facing trial on a charge of assault causing bodily harm.
The prosecutor, Sergeant Maria Dauda, said the accused had on May 27 pushed down one Oriyomi Jimoh, from a storey-building, when he discovered that Sanni had il legally “tapped” electricity from his flat.
Magistrate Tosin Fowowe-Erusiafe granted the accused N50,000 bail with two sureties in like sum and adjourned the case to November 1 for mention.
