Breaking! Asari Dokubo’s Wife Dies In Motor Accident (Photo)

 

A former militant leader, Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo Asari has lost his wife, Zainab Asari Dokubo to the cold hand of death.

She died in a ghastly motor accident alongside a friend on her way to Ibadan, the capital of Oyo state on Wednesday.

Her death was confirmed in a statement issued on
Wednesday evening by Alhaji Ishaq Kunle Sanni, the chairman Oyo state Muslim community.

Zainab, it was learnt, was already a Muslim years before she married Dokubo.

According to him, Zainab, who lived in Ibadan had to relocate to Yenagoa, Bayelsa when she was appointed Secretary of the Muslims Pilgrims Board. The statement read:

“Even then, there was hardly any month she was not in Ibadan for one Islamic programme or the other,” he said. “She was a member of many Islamic organisations in Ibadan including Oluyole Muslim community under the Imamship of Imam Mudashir Bada. It is interesting she was coming to her preferred town Ibadan when she met her destiny.
“May Allah accept her multifarious and multidimensional jihad as acts Ibadah and admit her to jannat Firdaous,” Alhaji Sanni said.

Zainab is survived by four children Amirah, Hassan, Hussain and Osama.
