Sadly and embarrassingly, there was power outage at the 2016 edition of the prestigious Africa Movie Academy Awards, which held in Port Harcourt. Check out Twitter reaction.

The 2016 Africa Movie Academy Awards held on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at Dr. Obi Wali Event Centre, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.

The event was interrupted by power outage for over 20 minutes.

There has been no official statement from the Academy as regards the unexpected situation.
