29 year old Bolt from Jamaica proclaimed himself the greatest athlete alive, after he successfully defended his titles at the London Olympics in 2012, thus becoming the first man to preserve an Olympic sprint title since Carl Lewis in 1988.
Usain Bolt who has revealed his intention to retire from athletics in 2017 shared with his 2.4m followers an image showing the awards he received, proving that even as a youngster, he was strides ahead of the rest.
He shared the photos and captioned it;
'My Mom sent me these today.. Just a couple of the medals I won back in the days #Foreverfaster #borntorun, read the picture, and it has been liked 32.7k times.
He already has an impressive medal collection, but it appears that his extensive haul of medals from years ago was very much a sign of things to come. "Just a couple", meaning there are still more...
