A mother-of-two whose huge breasts caused her crippling back and neck pain claims a boob reduction has transformed her life. Scyra Alexander went from a 34I to a more manageable 34DD - and lost 9lb of weight from her chest as a result.
The 32-year-old, who is a size 12, suffered from chronic back and neck pain because of her large chest - and had to wear shirts double the size of the rest of her body. Today, she said the NHS-funded surgery she underwent in September has completely changed her life.
Ms Alexander, from Cardiff, said the results were 'absolutely amazing'.
She said: 'Once I got past the surgery aches, the back, neck and shoulder pain pretty much stopped overnight.' She added one of her main motives to have the surgery was how the pain affected her work as a solicitor. She said: 'I've always been lucky in that no one has made me feel uncomfortable in the work place but I find it harder when it's a black tie event.
'It's hard to find something elegant and work appropriate so I would always avoid extracurricular activities. 'I have a size 12 body but have to wear jumpers that are a size 20.
'I can't fit into anything less than a size 16 in the top. It made me look very disproportionate. Even when I was 14 years old I would have to wear two bras to school.'
