What You Need to Know About This Crazzzzzzy Halloweennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn Day
Halloween
is a yearly celebration observed in a number of countries on 31 October, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows' Day.
People used the day to mark the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter, and also believed that this transition between the seasons was a bridge to the world of the dead. Over the millennia the holiday transitioned from a somber pagan ritual to a day of merriment, costumes, parades and sweet treats for children and adults.
It is not really celebrated in Nigeria and most part of Africa..As scary as it is, it is the biggest and funniest celebration in America...
I took out my time to bring you 10 most popular Halloween costumes for 2015...Check on them below
1. Harley Quinn
A woman dressed up as comic book character Harley Quinn poses at Comic Con in Paris on Oct. 23, 2015.
What you need: Pigtails or a jester hat, and dual colors — usually red and black, although this lovely lady chose red and blue.
2. Star Wars
A participant in a Star Wars costume poses before the Halloween parade in Kawasaki, Japan,
What you need: Just buy it already. Or, if you have a brown or black bathrobe you can pull off an Anakin Skywalker pretty easily. Still, every Jedi needs a light saber.
3. Superhero
This Superman-Clark Kent reversible costume....What you need: Chiseled abs — or the foam to fake it. So many options here! Superman. Iron-Man. The Incredibles. Take your pick and find some Lycra.
4. Pirate
These pirate costumes...What you need: Embrace your inner Jack Sparrow for a swarthy-spooky-swashbuckling time.
5. Batman
Even NBA players can go trick-or-treating? Phoenix Suns guard Archie Goodwin donned a Batman costume for media day at Talking Stick Resort Arena.
What you need: The mask (duh). And a cape (he's the Caped Crusader!). Optional: Utility belt. Optional: The abs (see "Superhero" above).
6. Minnie Mouse
Here's the real deal: Minnie and Mickey open the Disney Store at the D23 Expo on Aug. 14, 2015, in Anaheim, Calif. What you need: Yellow heels, a polka-dot dress and a bow for your hair — er, ears.
7. Witch
An adult witch costume. Not so scary.
What you need: Anything goes. The witch costume is a classic, in part, for its versatility. Go seamlessly from cleaning to trick-or-treating (carry that broom right out the door!). Go old-school with green face paint or a wart. Go low-maintenance by not plucking that chin hair. Pointy hat and striped socks are a plus.
8. Minions
Again, the real (ish) deal. Minions pose with Sandra Bullock at the premiere of "Minions" at the Shrine Auditorium on June 27, 2015, in Los Angeles.
What you need: Denim overalls. Goggles. Yellow facepaint. Boom. (But you still won't meet Sandra Bullock, sorry.)
9. Joker
A visitor to the London Super Comic Convention wears a Joker costume..
What you need: Green hair dye, white face paint and red lipstick for that creepy smile.
10. Wonder Woman
Sarena Blanco of Corona, Calif., dressed as Wonder Woman for Comic-Con in San Diego. "I went with my Halloween costume," she said. "Wonder Woman is strong, and she kicks butt!"
What you need: Gold sweat bands, a red tank top and a royal blue skirt. Or, in some cases, boy shorts. Buy some white star stickers (or, if you're willing to throw out said skirt or boy shorts, just use White-Out) and you're in business...
