2 People Die in Auto Crash Accident in Kubwa Road, Abuja

An auto crash, on Sunday, along the Kubwa expressway, Abuja has left about two persons dead. We gathered that the crash, which occurred at about 2:20pm, around the Katampe Power Station involved a Volkswagen wagon and a heavy duty truck.

Recounting the crash, an eyewitness said the Volkswagen, which was carrying aluminium doors and window panels from the Gwarinpa axis of the road and heading towards Maitama, suddenly ran into the truck which was moving in front. The two occupants of the Volkswagen were said to have died at the spot.

“There were two people in the Volkswagen and both of them died. The body of one of them, whose head got broken, was mangled beyond recognition while one of the hands of the other victim was severed from the body. It was a pitiable sight,” the eyewitness disclosed.
