David Beckham celebrates his 40th birthday today - and decided to mark the occasion by joining Instagram.
The footballing legend posted a sexy selfie this morning showing him lying in bed with his shirt off with the caption "Good morning and hello! It’s great to finally be on Instagram, been a long time coming but I can’t wait to start sharing all my special moments with you.
"Thank you for all your birthday messages so far. Looking forward to a great day with friends and family x"
After only a few hours and just one post, he had attracted 718k followers.
