American business magazine Forbes has just released this year's list of top five wealthiest hip hop artists. "The Forbes Five: Hip Hop's Wealthiest Artists" 2015 and it was a big battle between Dr. Dre and Diddy.
After selling off his Beats By Dre headphone line to Apple, the super producer pocketed $500 million after taxes to bring his net worth to an estimate $700 million. Still, he's not the richest man in hip-hop. Diddy is, according to Forbes, with an estimated net worth of $735 million.
Diddy's empire includes huge stakes in his TV network Revolt, clothing line Sean John, alkaline water brand Aquahydrate, and new tequila DeLeon, while Dre's overall net worth is credited to the nine-figure payout he received from Apple's acquisition of Beats.

Closing out the list is Birdman with $150 million, due to the success of his Cash Money Records empire. However, his overall number is down from $160 in 2014, due to rumors that many of its big acts plan on leaving, most notably, Lil Wayne.
