Former Front Liner of the Fugees and Grammy award winner, Lauryn Hill will not be performing at the May Day Live concert holding tonight at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
According to an official statement from the singer, who was billed to perform with a host of Nigerian stars including Banky w and Sound Sultan tonight, the event promoters were unable to provide all travel arrangements for her to come down to Nigeria.
‘We are disappointed to report that we will not be performing at tonight’s concert. From our end, we did everything we were supposed to do, including waiting at the airport for many hours, ready to fly out and share the evening with you.
Unfortunately, after much effort, the promoter was not able to get all of our travel arrangements taken care of,’ the statement reads. The show had been advertised as one of the biggest events of the year and fans had bought tickets for the show in anticipation of a great show by the American music star....
