I visited Leisure Mall in Surulere this afternoon and guess what I found out.. They now do the ‘Pay n Pee’ policy at Leisure Mall/ FilmHouse cinemas, Surulere. I am hoping that there is a staff, director, friend or relation of any member of management of this Mall that sees this..
I want to believe that the owners, Directors and management of Leisure Mall, are civilized men and women living in the 21st Century. They live in nice houses with toilets; they were granted License to operate.
That is the sign boldly posted at ‘Convenience’ doors at Leisure Mall. You don’t need d constitution to know that it is ‘Compulsory under law’ to provide toilet facilities if you run any public facility.

Think of the hygiene factor, public toilet attendants disbursing change in dirty naira notes to customers who dip same hands in their pop-corn!
We can visit other malls with better hygiene sense but if you are thinking of going to Leisure Mall Surulere from now on, better “Enter with your toilet change o!!”

- A Mall that attracts over 1000 customers daily,
- A Mall that houses popular business brands like ‘Mr Price’ ‘Barcellos’ ‘TM Lewin, FilmHouse Cinemas’ etc….
- A Mall that is directly linked into Shoprite Surulere.
- A Mall that charges customer car parking per hour.
- A Mall where a small bottle of water is 200 naira…
-A Mall that charges 1200 naira for a movie ticket,
This Mall shamelessly thought it a brilliant idea to charge its customers 20 naira to ‘pee’. Having illiterate sentries at the toilet door to hand you two strips of tissue paper as you pay N20. I’m talking about the Home of Excellence in 2015, not Onitsha market in 1980.
