Nigeria Nurse Escaped Quarantine & Fled to Enugu Where She Has Contacted 20 Other People

A nurse at First Consultants Hospital in Lagos, who came in contact with Nigeria’s index Ebola victim Patrick Saywer escaped the isolation unit where she was being quarantined after she became infected with the deadly virus. Rather than continue with her treatment at the isolation unit she fled to her hometown in Enugu state, where has been in contact with 20 other people including her family.
The Minister of Information Labaran Maku, speaking at a Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting today, told the council that the nurse and the 20 people she was in contact with are currently under surveillance in Enugu. Maku said,
All those who she was in contact with, including her husband, are under quarantine. The medical team has been able to trace all those who made contact with her

How did she escape quarantine though? are the isolation wards not secure? How did she get to Enugu? Did she go by road or air? What about the people she came in contact with…have they also been tracked down and placed under observation?
