Another sad story as Nigeria looses another person to this deadly Ebola Virus. Dr. Ameyo Stella Adadevoh
the consultant physician at a First Consultants Hospital Obalende, Lagos who had contracted the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) from the Liberian, Mr. Patrick Sawyer has died from the deadly disease.
58 year old Dr. Adadevoh is a hero because she actually stopped Sawyer from leaving the hospital and spreading the diseases to more Nigerians. She passed away at 5pm this evening after falling into a coma yesterday. Adadevoh led the medical team that treated Sawyer the Liberian man who brought the disease to Nigeria on 20th July and passed away on 25th July 2014. Dr Adadevoh is the fourth Nigerian to pass away from the disease. All those that have passed away from Ebola in Nigeria were people who had direct contact with Sawyer.
