Did you hear about the Gobe that happened yesterday between the Nigerian Soldiers and Bus Rapid Transit BRT Buses and drivers, I took my time to go to scene but my ears couldn't accommodate more eye witness stories, some say trouble started when a BRT bus hit a soldier on a bike. Nobody knows if the soldier died (though there are indications that he may have been crushed to death) but other soldiers immediately arrived the scene and started stopping all BRT buses on Ikorodu road beating drivers and sending passengers out. Beating even passers-by who move too close to them or take pictures.
Another eye witness I spoke with said; the incident happened when the BRT driver changed his lane and accidentally knocked down the soldier on a bike. As a result of that, some soldiers gathered at the scene and started misbehaving
According to another eye-witness, she said two civilians were allegedly beaten up and a guy who was taking pictures was beaten and his phone smashed on the express road.
It is confirmed that the soldier that dealt with the innocent security man has been arrested and will sure face the law
