In Regina Askia’s movie years, she was one of the most sought-after actresses in Nigeria.
The ex-beauty queen (1989 Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria)/mother-of-3 lives in the United States of America with her husband and children having relocated several years ago. She works as an oncology registered nurse at NYC Hospital having studied Nursing at the College of Staten Island of the City University of New York.

Regina is currently in Nigeria on vacation. She arrived Nigeria (Abuja) on Saturday, 5th April. She’s currently in Akwa Ibom State with her mother and other close family members. In a Facebook message, Regina said:
“Finally in my mothers arms, in the village. Finally got my share of the ikpan, the isip mbakara, the ekpang nkukwo, aaahhh……Walked around the ranging farm house, my sister had the house all done up nieces and nephews vying to show new skills and sending messages of love to Teesa and Rudy……..Had long discussion with Uncle mmi. It was sunny, beautiful and hot….Palm fronds swaying, cool breeze blowing, tropical scents wafting…….Africa my Africa”.
