Fam Photos: American Idol Judge Simon Cowell Says He Regrets Having Affair with Babymama Lauren..

When former American Idol judge, Sumon Cowell, who welcomed baby Eric with Lauren in February, began a romantic relationship with Lauren Silverman, she was still married to his close friend, Andrew Silverman. And now, in a new interview with the UK’s Mirror, Cowell, 54, addressed the chaos that erupted when news broke of his affair with married Lauren Silverman. Cowell says he does “regret” the betrayal and he is not proud of the fact that his actions wound up hurting other people. He however never regrets that his son Eric was conceived as a result of the affair.
He told The Mirror: Read below
“It is not something I am proud of or wanted to happen in terms of hurting anyone. It just
happened. I regret that part. But then of course you have a baby and you look at the baby and you kinda go ‘this is what happened from it’.
You have to deal with it and man up to it. You have to accept the responsibility and the criticism. All I can say is, my advice to you is if it happens to you, you just have to deal with it a day at a time and own up to your responsibilities.Lauren Silverman has since divorced her husband to set up housekeeping with Cowell. She and baby Eric have moved in with Cowell at his home in West London.
