When Mercy Aigbe appeared on the red carpet of the recently held African Magic Viewers Choice awards, I knew that I had seen her dress somewhere, but couldn't place it. Now however, fashionistas have dug up the inspiration for her all white ensemble: Heidi Klum's outfit to the 2014 golden globes earlier this year.
While the dresses are uncannily similar, the accessories and hair are very different. Actress Mercy Aigbe paired her dress with platform sandals, and Grecian hair pulled back, while German born super model Heidi Klum wore gold pumps with ankle straps, and styled her hair in a wavy, vintage way to the side.
Mercy also opted for a gold purse, but Heidi decided against the clutch.
